TÜMÖRE BENZEYEN SPİNA İLİAKA ANTERİOR SUPERİOR AVULSİYON KIRIĞI VAKASI: OLGU SUNUMU

Spina iliaka anterior superior avulsiyon kırıkları nadirdir ve genellikle adölesan dönemde görülür. Avulsiyon kırıklarına çoğunlukla kırık hematomu, kırık sonrası osteoliz ve kallus oluşumu eşlik eder. Radyolojik incelemede bu tablo Ewing sarkomu yada osteosarkom gibi malign bir süreçle karıştırılabilir. Tedavisi genellikle konservatiftir, ancak ciddi deplasman olduğunda cerrahi tedavi uygulanır.

A CASE OF BONE TUMOR MIMICKING AVULSION FRACTURE OF THE ANTERIOR SUPERIOR ILIAC SPINE: A CASE REPORT

Avulsion fractures of the anterior superior iliac spine are rare and this injury is usually seen in adolescents. These avulsion injuries usually have an associated haematoma and develop excessive callus with postfracture osteolysis, which on radiological investigation may be mistaken for an osteosarcoma, Ewing’s sarcoma. Treatment for this injury is usually conservative; however, surgical management has been reported in those with significant displacement.
