Modelling of power electronic circuits using the bond graph method

In this paper, the modelling of power electronic circuits using the bond graph method with a new switch definition is presented. Power electronic components are replaced with their equivalents composed of the sources, linear components and switches by using piecewise-linear approximation. In addition, a mathematical model of state and output equations is obtained by using the bond graph model of power electronic components and circuits. The results produced by the prepared general purpose computer programme BOPEC are given.
