Treatment approaches in ovarian masses in children
Aim: The aim of this retrospective study is to evaluate clinical features, treatment approaches and outcomes of children with ovarian mass.
Materials and Methods: In our clinic, the oncologic charts of children with a mass in the ovary between 2009 and 2020 were analyzed retrospectively. The patients' demographic features, symptoms and signs, diagnosis, treatments and outcomes were noticed.
Results: The age of 55 patients included in the study ranged from two months to 18 years (median, 12.9 years). While the ages of 38 patients were ≥ 10 years (69.1%), 17 of them were
