Bu makale İsrail’de yaşayan Hristiyanların ve sayıları 60’ı bulan Hristiyan kiliselerinin devletle ilişki kuruma biçimlerini, bu ilişkilerin tarihsel süreç içinde nasıl kurumsallaştığını incelemektedir. Son verilere göre İsrail nüfusunun yüzde ikisini oluşturan Hristiyanlar, ülke dışına göç vermeleri ve düşük doğum oranları nedeniyle gittikçe küçülen bir dinî grup olmakla birlikte, uluslararası bağlantıları nedeniyle büyük bir etkiye sahiptirler. İsrail’in kilise ve cemaatlerle kurduğu kurumsal ilişki Din İşleri Bakanlığı, İçişleri Bakanlığı ve Dışişleri Bakanlığı aracılığıyla yürütülmekte, ayrıca Kudüs Belediyesi de özel konumu nedeniyle katkıda bulunmaktadır. This essay analyzes the relationship of Christians living in Israel and Christian churches, numbering about 60, with the state and how these relations institutionalized in a historical process. The Christians in Israel, that constitute two percent of the population according to latest figures, is decreasing in size due to low birth rates and constant emigration. Despite this decrease in numbers because of their international links they have a strong influence in the country. Israel manages its relations with churches and communities through the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Ministry for Interior Affairs and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Moreover, the Municipality of Jerusalem is also engaged due to its specific position. Different types of specific relations Israel established with each of the communities, as well as the main principles on which they are based, are elucidated below
