2013 Yılının baharında İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesinin ilgili birim ve merkezleri, “Arapça Öğretmenleri Haydi Türkiye’ye” kısa adıyla “AHT” projesini başlatıp dört yıl devam ettirmiştir. Her yılda yeni bir ayağı düzenlenen proje, vasıflı Arapça öğretmenlerini seçici ve tecrübeye dayalı bir çalışma ile belirleme, onlara belirli bir eğitim programı uygulama ve bu hocaları Türk eğitim kurumlarında istihdam etme projesidir. 22 Ülkeden oluşan Arap dünyasının 20’sinden AHT projemize toplam 7460 başvuru yapılmıştır. Farklı nedenlerle bu başvuruların sadece ilk 1900’ü dikkate alınıp değerlendirilmiştir ve değerlendirme sonucunda başvuruda bulunan Arapça öğretmenlerinden toplam 440 hoca online olarak gerçekleştirilen sınava alınmıştır. Bu sınavda başarılı olan 110 Arapça öğretmeni ile tanışmak, bunlara Türkiye’deki Arapça öğretimi ile ilgili eğitim vermek ve her birisine 3 saatlik deneme dersini yaptırıp videoya almak için bu hocalar İstanbul’a davet edilmişlerdir. İstanbul’da verilen eğitim ve yaptırılan deneme derslerinin sonucunda 110 hocadan 51 hoca seçilip 17 Türk eğitim kurumunda istihdam edilmeleri sağlanmıştır. Bu çalışmamızda projenin tanıtımı, amacı, gerekçesi, meyveleri, aşamaları, yenilikçi ve özgün yönleri detaylı bir şekilde açıklandıktan sonra projeye başvuruda bulunan 7460 Arapça öğretmeninin tamamı ile ilgili istatistiksel çalışmalara dayanan kapsamlı bir analiz yapılmıştır. AHT projemizin Türk toplumunun belirli bir ihtiyacını karşılamak için başlatılması ve projeden yararlanan tarafların hiçbirinden ücret talep etmemesi bakımından bu proje tam bir sosyal sorumluluk projesi örneği teşkil etmektedir.

In the spring of 2013, Istanbul 29 Mayis University launched the project of Te- achers of Arabic, Come to Turkey “AHT” Project through the Unit and Center for Teaching Arabic in it. The project was implemented once a year for the next 4 years in the purpose of choosing competent Arab teachers and then subjecting them to a specialized training program and then providing them with job opportunities in Turkish educational institutions. The total number of applications received by the project is 7460, which came from 20 Arab countries, noting that the total number of Arab countries is 22. The project managed to study only the first 1900 of these requests for various reasons, and 440 of them were chosen so that they would un- dergo a scientific online examination, after which 110 applicants were selected to be invited to Istanbul for the purpose of acquaintance and to give them a course related to teaching Arabic in Turkey and to have each one of them presenting three demo lessons that we videotaped. As a result of the training course and evaluation process of the pilot lessons, 51 applicants were selected and then job opportuni- ties were secured for them in 17 Turkish educational institutions. In our study, we provided a definition of the project and talked about its objectives, benefits, stages, and innovative aspects, and then presented a detailed analysis of the 7,460 app- lications based on accurate statistical studies. The " Teachers of Arabic, Come to Turkey” project is an ideal model for social responsibility projects in that it covers one of the needs of the Turkish society and does not charge any of the parties that benefit from it.
