Çok Düşük Frekans Elektromanyetik Alanın Cinsiyet İnsidansı Üzerine Etkileri

Ülkemizde yüksek gerilim hatlarından yayılan elektromanyetik alanlarla ilgili bir güvenlik limit düzenlemesi olmaması iletim hatlarının, evlerin 4 metre gibi çok yakınından geçmesine yol açmaktadır. Nitekim ikamet edilen yerin yüksek gerilim iletim hatlarına yakınlığı ile çocukların cinsiyet oranları arasındaki ilişkiye dair yapılmış çalışmalar mevcuttur. Bu çalışma ile 50-60 Hz frekans aralığında elektromanyetik alan kaynağı olan hücre dağıtım ve trafo merkezleri yakınında ikamet eden ailelerin çocuklarında cinsiyet insidansı araştırılmıştır. Kahramanmaraş ve Şanlıurfa il merkezlerinde yer alan hücre dağıtım merkezleri ve trafo merkezleri çevresinde 100 m yarıçaplı alan içerisinde ikamet eden ailelerden, çocuk sahibi erkek bireyler ile toplam 19 sorudan oluşan anketler yüz yüze görüşme ile doldurulmuştur. Sonuçlar, elektromanyetik alan kaynaklarına yakınlığa, cevaplayıcıların anketin yapıldığı evde ikamet sürelerine ve evde geçirdikleri sürelere göre değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuşlardır. Araştırma sonucunda söz konusu etkilerin erkek çocuk sayısı üzerine önemli bir etki yapmadığı fakat maruz kalınan elektromanyetik alan yoğunluğunun kız çocuk sayısı üzerine önemli derecede etki yaptığı tespit edilmiştir.
