Gücül, Edimsel, Devrimci Olay: Gezi İsyanı Üzerine

Gezi İsyanı’nı ele alan çalışmalar her ne kadar kıymetli ve ufuk açıcı olsa da, isyanın özellikle bir yönünü ıskalamış gibi görünüyor: gücül ve edimsel arasındaki etkileşim. Bu makale bu önemli boşluğu, Gezi’nin özgürleşimci potansiyellerine eğilerek kapatmayı amaçlıyor. Makale isyanın devrimci olay kavramıyla yakından bağlantılı olduğunu, lineer-çizgisel zamanı çok aştığını tartışıyor. İlk önce isyana yol açan nedenlere kısaca değiniliyor. Ardından Gezi’nin edimsel koşullar ile gücül potansiyeller arasındaki etkileşimi nasıl mümkün kıldığı inceleniyor. Bu bağlamda devrimci bir olay olan Gezi İsyanı’na kairos kavramı açısından yaklaşılıyor. Kairos gücül ve edimsel, strateji ve afyon arasında bir bağ kurar. Makale son olarak, Gezi İsyanı’nın ortaya çıkardığı yeni özneleşme biçimlerini ve alternatif siyasal ve toplumsal olanakları inceliyor.

Virtual, Actual, Revolutionary Event: On Gezi Revolt

Though many readings on Gezi are fascinating and valid, they have missed especially one of the most significant aspects of the revolt: that of the link between the virtual and the actual. This paper fills that particular gap by demonstrating attention to the emancipatory aspects of the revolt. It argues that Gezi revolt is closely related to the idea of event, upending a linear, determinist time. Firstly, it briefly discusses the chain of events that triggered Gezi revolt. It then explores how Gezi mediates the actual conditions with the virtual possibilities. In this respect, Gezi as a revolutionary event is approached via the concept of kairos, establishing a link between the virtual and the actual, strategy and intoxication. Finally, the paper explores Gezi in relation to the emergence of new possibilities and subjectivities
