Makina İmalatçıları Birliği (MİB), Avrupa Bilgi Köprüleri Programı kapsamında "CSD-BK-14" numaralı ve "Türkiye'deki Makina Sektöründe AB Müktesebatı Konusunda Uzmanlık Oluşturulması" konu başlıklı proje ile; makina imalatçılarına AB direktiflerine uyum ve CE işaretlemesi konularında doğrudan destek sağlayabilmeyi hedeflemektedir. Bu proje kapsamında yapılan anket çalışmasıyla Türk makina sektörünün ilgili AB direktiflerine mevcut uyum durumu araştırılmış ve bu amaçla bir gereksinim belirleme anketi hazırlanmıştır. Gereksinim belirleme anketi, 01/03/2007 ve 13/04/2007 tarihleri arasında Makina İmalatçıları Birliği üyesi firmalara uygulanmıştır. Anket çalışması kapsamında 961 firmaya anket formu ile ilgili bilgiler e-mail,faks ve telefon yollan ile iletilmiş ve ankete katılmaları için istekte bulunulmuştur. Bu çalışmalar sonucunda 99 firma internet sayfasında bulunan anketi cevaplamıştır. Bu anket ile, CE direktiflerine uyum ile ilgili olarak mevcut çalışmaların, gereksinimlerin, problemlerin ve isteklerin belirlenmesi hedeflenmiştir. İmalatçıların ürünlerine CE işaretlemesi yapıp yapmadıkları, CE işaretlemesi yaparken karşılaştıkları sorunlar, piyasa gözetim ve denetiminin etkileri ile CE işaretli ürünlerin firmaya katkılarının neler olabileceği gibi soruların cevabı anket çalışmasında aranmış ve anket sonuçları yorumlanmıştır.

Machinery Manufacturers Union aims to directly support Machinery Manufacturers for harmonization with EU directives and CE Marking in the context of the Europe bridges ofknowledge program, numbered with "CSD - BK- 14" and with the project title of "Formation of Expertise on the EU Regulations (Acquisitions) in the Machinery sector in TURKEY". The current harmonization process of Turkish Machinery Industry to the relevant EU directives was inspected with the study performed in the context of this Project and a survey named "Identification of Requirement Analysis " was conducted for this purpose. This survey was applied to the machinery manufacturer companies between the dates; 01/03/2007 and 13/04/2007. In the scope of this survey, information related to survey form was conveyed to 961 companies by e-mail, fax and telephone and these companies were asked to participate in the survey. As a result of these studies 99 companies answered the survey which was provided through the web site. With this survey it is aimed to define the current studies, requirements, problems and wishes regarding the harmonization to CE directives. The answers to the questions, whether the manufacturers use CE marking on their products, their problems regarding to CE marking procedure, the effects of market surveillance and what will be the contributions of the CE marked products to the company, are figured out within this survey and the results of the survey are explained.
