Toz metal çeliklerin yorulma özellikleri

Toz metal (TM) çeliklerin mikroyapılarına bağlı yorulma özelliklerine, malzeme ve hazırlama şartlarının etkileri kritik olarak derlenmiştir. Mikroyapı; gözenek özelliklerini, çeşitli fazları (ferrit, perlit, martenzit, beynit, kalıcı östenit) ve homojenliği kapsamaktadır. Bu mikroyapı elemanlarının düşük devir-yüksek devir yorulma davranışına, yorulma çatlağı başlaması ve ilerlemesine, çentik duyarlılığına, yorulma oranına (eksenel, dönmeli bükme ve yuvarlanmalı temas yüklerinde) etkileri incelenmiştir. Makale, TM çeliklerin yorulma özellikleri açısından malzeme ve hazırlama şartlarının optimizasyonu ilkelerini belirlemektedir.

A critical review of the interaction of material and processing conditions is made for sintered steels in relation to their microstructures and attendant fatigue properties. The former embrace pore characteristics, constituents (ferrite, peariite, martensite, bainite, retained austenite) and the degree of microstructural homogeneity. These structural entities are examined in relation to low and high cycle fatigue, crack initiation and propagation, notch sensitivity, and the fatigue ratio under conditions of axial, rotating bend, and rolling contact fatigue. The review establishes guidelines for the optimization of material and processing conditions in terms of the fatigue life of PM steels.
