Polimer matriksli fren balata malzemelerinin kompozisyon ve üretim parametreleri açısından değerlendirilmesi

Polimer esaslı sürtünme malzemelerinin arzu edilen sürtünme ve aşınma davranışlarını sağlaması ve frenleme performansını arttırması amacıyla birçok araştırma yapılmıştır. Günümüzde, taşıtlarda kullanılan yüksek oranlı seramiklerden, düşük oranlı metalik, polimerik, asbestiz organik balata malzemelerine kadar değişen geniş bir yelpazede yaklaşık yüz farklı sürtünme formülü geliştirilmiştir. Bu çalışma, polimer esaslı fren balata malzemelerinin kompozisyonu ve üretim parametrelerine genel bir bakış sağlamanın yanı sıra birçok araştırmacının farklı kompozisyonlarına ve üretim parametrelerine İlişkin elde ettikleri malzeme özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur.

Investigations have been made to improve the braking performance of polymer based friction materials for obtaining desirable friction and wear behavior. There are about hundreds of different friction formulas in use of vehicles today ranging from high content ceramics to low metalllcs to polymeric to nonasbesfos organic (NAO). This paper gives a general view of the composition and manufacturing parameters of polymer based brake pad materials, with special emphasis on many researches for composition and manufacturing parameters variations and the corresponding variations of the material properties.
