Pasif yangın durdurucu malzemeler, tüm dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’deki yangın yönetmeliğinde de yangının etkilerinden korunma ve yangın sonrası oluşacak risklerin en aza indirilmesi ve can güvenliğinin sağlanması için yapılarda özellikle kullanılması gerekliliğine işaret edilen bir malzeme türüdür. Buna bağlı olarak, bu malzemelerin kullanım alanları ve projelendirilmesinde uyulması gereken esaslar ve uluslararası yönetmelik ve standartlar son yıllarda birçok değişiklik göstermiştir. Özellikle Avrupa’da EN 1366 standardının gelişimi ve European Technical Approval/ETA (Avrupa Teknik Onayı) onaylarının getirdiği test yöntemlerindeki değişiklikler ve Yapı Malzemeleri Yönetmeliğindeki (CPR) değişikliklere bağlı olarak üst düzey üretim kontrollerinin oluşturulması ile birlikte, “CE” dökümantasyonu pasif yangın durdurucu malzemelerde kullanılmaya başlanmış ve tüm Avrupa’yı tek bir çatı altında toplamaya başlamıştır. Bu çalışmada, pasif yangın durdurucu malzemeler için ETA onaylarının gelişimi ve diğer standartlar ile farklılıklarına değinilmiş ve yapı malzemeleri yönetmeliği ile ilgili ilgi bölümlere vurgu yapılmıştır.

Passive firestop products are mentioned to be used in the buildings to prevent from the effects of fire, to reduce the risks after the fire and to save the human’s life in Turkey like globally in the world. The criteria for the application and designing of these products are governed by the international standarts. These standarts had some changes and also some new standarts are introduced in the recent years. Esspecially in Europe, the improvement of EN 1366 and the changes in European Technical Approval/ETA brings a common understanding to whole Europe market. With the implementation of CPR (Construction Product Regulation) and with CE documentation started to used for passive firestop products which is also controled by the 3rd party in the production phase. In this study, the development of ETA approvals for firestop products and the differentiation with other local standards are explained and also refered to the current chapters of the construction product regulation.
