Günümüzdeki ürünlerin temel kalite özelliği olan güvenilebilirliğin en önemli bileşenlerinden biri olan sürdürülebilirlik kavramı, güvenilebilirliğin diğer bileşenleri ve disiplinlerle olan ilintisi ve günümüzdeki bakım çalışmalarındaki önemi açısından ele alınmaktadır.
