Ferit Edgü toplumcu gerçekçiliğin sınırlarını sorgulayan ve eş anlı olarak Batı’da gelişen varoluşçu edebiyatı izleyerek “şimdi”yi yakalamaya uğraşan edebiyatın ’50 kuşağının bir parçasıydı. Biçimde ve özde yeniyi arayan bu kuşağın içerisinde Ferit Edgü’yü farklı kılan unsurlar nelerdi? Questioning the limits of social realism while following the existentialist literature growing in the West and aiming to seize the moment, the “now”, Ferit Edgü was part of the ‘50 generation. What were some of the factors that distinguished Ferit Edgü from others in this generation that were looking for the new in the essence and the format? With Edgü’s minimalist form, in his narration focusing on the subjects of hopelessness, discomfort, existence or non-being Edgü shares the literal and existential issues that wobble between the act of writing, trying to live and write and be quiet or narrate.
