Willermus Tyrensis'in Historia Adlı Eserinin Kayıp Otobiyografik Bölümü
Sûr Başpiskoposu Willermus’un Historia adlı eserinin ilk modern neşri 1844 yılında yayımlanmıştır. Ancak eserin 19. kitabının 12. bölümü o tarihlerde kayıptı. R. B. C. Huygens bu bölümü keşfetti ve 1962 senesinde keşfini duyurdu. Willermus otobiyografisi niteliğindeki bu bölümde ağırlıklı olarak Avrupa’da gördüğü öğrenimden bahsetmektedir. Ayrıca Kudüs Krallığı’na döndükten sonra Akkâ Kilisesi’nde aldığı ilk görevi ve kraliyet ailesiyle ilk temasını anlatmaktadır. Bölümün keşfiyle Willermus Tyrensis’in hayatının önemli bir aşaması aydınlanmıştır. Historia’nın Türkçe çevirisi, bölümün keşfinden sonra yayımlanmış olsa da çeviride bu bölüm yer almamaktadır. Eksikliği gidermek amacıyla ilgili bölüm bu çalışmada Türkçeye çevrilmiştir.

The Lost Autobiographical Chapter of William of Tyre's Historia
The first modern edition of William of Tyre's Historia was published in 1844. However, the 12th chapter of the 19th book of the Historia was lost at that time. R. B. C. Huygens discovered it and announced his discovery in 1962. In this autobiographical chapter, William mainly talks about his education in Europe. He also mentions his first service in the Church of Acre after returning to the Kingdom of Jerusalem and his first contact with the royal family. With the discovery of the chapter, an important phase of William of Tyre's life is enlightened. Although the Turkish translation of the Historia was published after the discovery of the chapter, the chapter is not included in the translation. To fill the gap, the chapter is translated into Turkish in this study.
