Metilfenidatın Dikkat Eksikliği Hiperaktivite Bozukluğu'nda Uyku Bozukluğu Eş Tanısına Olumlu Etkileri

Dikkat eksikliği hiperaktivite bozukluğu çocukluk çağında en sık görülen psikiyatrik bozukluklar arasında yer almaktadır. Son yıllarda yapılan çok sayıda araştırma dikkat eksikliği hiperaktivite bozukluğu olan çocuk ve ergenlerde uyku bozukluklarının sık olarak görüldüğünü göstermiştir. Metilfenidat dikkat eksikliği hiperaktivite bozukluğunun tedavisinde genel olarak yüksek bir güvenilirlik ve tolerabilite ile kullanılmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunda metilfenidatın dikkat eksikliği hiperaktivite bozukluğu tanılı bir ergende uyku bozukluğu eş tanısına olan olumlu etkisi tartışılmıştır.

Abstract Positive Effect of Methylphenidate on the Sleep Disorder Comorbidity in an Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Case Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is one of the most common pscyhiatric disorders in childhood. Many recent studies have shown that sleep disorders are commonly encountered in children and adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Methylphenidate is used for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children with high safety and tolerability. In this case report, the positive effect of methylphenidate on the comorbid sleep disorder in an adolescent with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder was discussed.
