Farklı Oranlarda Tribulus terrestris İçeren Yemlerle Beslemenin Melek Balığı (Pterophyllum scalare Liechtenstein, 1923) Yavrularının Büyüme ve Yaşama Oranına Etkisi

Bu çalışmada, melek balığı (Pterophyllum scalare) yavrularının büyüme performansı ve yem değerlendirmesi üzerine Tribulus terrestris bitkisinin etkileri araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla yem içeriklerine 0, 200, 400, 600 mg/kg olacak şekilde T. terrestris ilave edilmiştir. Melek balığının besin ihtiyacına göre izonitrojenik (%44 protein) ve izokalorik (%10 yağ) içeren 4 farklı deneme yemiyle balıklar günde 3 kez doyana kadar beslenmişlerdir. Deneme her akvaryumda 12 balık olacak şekilde 2 tekerrürlü olarak tasarlanmış ve 6 hafta boyunca devam etmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre, en iyi ağırlık artışı, spesifik büyüme oranı ve en iyi yem değerlendirme oranı 600 mg/kg T. terrestris yoğunluğa sahip yemlerle beslenen gruplarda elde edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak melek balığı yavrularının yemlerinde T. terrestris’in büyüme performansı ve yaşama oranına herhangi bir olumsuz etkisi olmaksızın kilogramda 600 mg kullanılabileceği söylenebilir.
