TÜBİTAK 4004 Doğa ve Bilim Okulları : Burdur “7/24 Bilim” Kampı

Bilimin toplum yaşamını her geçen gün daha fazla etkilemesi insanların bilime olan merakını giderek arttırmış ve bilimi anlamlandırma gerekliliğini doğurmuştur. Ülkemizde de bilim kültürünü toplumda yaygınlaştırmak adına adımlar atılmakta, çeşitli kurum ve kuruluşlarca bilimsel içerikli çalışmalara ve projelere destekler sunulmaktadır. Bu kuruluşlardan biri olan Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Araştırma Kurumu, “bilimin toplum ile buluşturulmasını ve toplumda yaygınlaştırılmasını sağlamak amacıyla” 4004 Doğa Eğitimi ve Bilim Okulları Destekleme Programı kapsamında çeşitli projelere destekler sunmaktadır. 2019 yılında desteklenmeye değer görülmüş ve Göller Yöresinde gerçekleştirilmiş projelerden biri de bir bilim kampı olan “7/24 Bilim” projesidir. Bu kamp 16-22 Temmuz 2019 tarihleri arasında kırsal bölge okullarında öğrenim gören 20 ortaokul öğrencisinin katılımıyla 7 gün boyunca, Burdur’da gerçekleştirmiştir. Proje alanlarında uzman 17 eğitmenin rehberliğinde Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Üniversitesi bünyesinde yürütülmüştür. Bu makalede 7/24 Bilim projesinin hazırlanma ve yürütülmesine dair bilgiler verilmiş, projede gerçekleştirilen etkinlikler tanıtılmış, ayrıca “7/24 Bilim” projesine katılmış olan öğrencilerin proje ile projelerde gerçekleştirilen etkinliklere yönelik görüşlerine yer verilmiştir.

TUBITAK 4004 Enviromental and Science Education: Burdur “7/24 Science” Camp

The fact that science affects social life more and more every day has increased people's curiosity towards science and caused the necessity to make sense of science. In our country, steps are taken to spread the culture of science in the society and supports are provided for scientific studies and projects by various institutions and organizations. The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey is one of these organizations, "to bring together the scientific community and to ensure dissemination in the community" within the scope of the 4004 Nature Education and Science Schools Support Program offers support to various projects. One of the projects deemed worthy to be supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey and realized in the Lake District is the “7/24 Science” project. The "7/24 Science" project is a science camp. This camp was held between 16-22 July 2019 in Burdur for 7 days with the participation of 20 students from rural schools. The project was carried out under Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University by the guidance of 17 expert tutor. was carried out by 17 Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. This article presents the detailed information about the preparation and implementation of the 7/24 Science project, about the activities carried out in the project, and the opinions of the students who participated in the “7/24 Science” project regarding the project and activities carried out in the project.
