Zellweger sendromu ön tanılı hastada manyetik rezonans görüntüleme sırasında anestezik yaklaşım

Zellweger Sendromu (ZS) peroksizom eksikliğine bağlı, nörolojik sistem, iskelet sistemi, karaciğer ve göze ait anomalilerin izlendiği, nadir görülen bir sendromdur. Zellweger Sendromunda gözlenen anomaliler anestezi uygulamalarında ciddi komplikasyonlara yol açabilir. Öte yandan ZS’li olgularının anestezi uygulamaları yeterince aydınlatılmamıştır. Bu nedenle ZS ön tanılı 11 aylık olguda manyetik rezonans görüntüleme sırasındaki anestezi yaklaşımımızı sunmayı amaçladık.

Anesthetic management of patient with pre-diagnosed zellweger syndrome during the magnetic resonance imaging

Zellweger Syndrome (ZS) is rare peroxysome deficiency disorder and patients suffering from this syndrome display a range of disturbances including neurological, sceletal, hepatological and oculer abnormalities. Present abnormalities may cause serious complications in the anesthetic management. However anesthetic management of patients with ZS is not clarified enough. That is why we would like to share our experience by presenting our anesthetic approaches, towards a 11 months baby pre-diagnosed with ZS, during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedure.
