Although meningiomas are known as slow-growing tumors, they can present accelerated growth pattern due to hormonal receptor expression during pregnancy. The authors present a foramen magnum meningioma causing rapid life threatening neurological deterioration in a 28-week pregnant woman. Possible treatment strategies for this rare clinical scenario are also discussed.
