Mu’tezile Mezhebine Ehl-i Sünnet’in İsnâdı: ‘Kırâatlar, Tevkîfî Değil; İctihâdîdir’ -Zemahşerî Özelinde Bir İddianın Değerlendirilmesi-

Some classical Ahl al-Sunnah scholars and some modern authors claim that al-Mu’tazilah, especially Zamakhshari adopt that variant readings had based on personal opinion (al-ichtihadi). They also present those claims as depending on above-mentioned basic claim: ‘Mu’tazilah and Zamakhshari hadn’t considered al-rasm al-Mushaf and had prefered al-qiraat al-shazza to al-qiraat al-mutawatira and had given precedence to Arabic language and rethoric rather than naql and had gone beyond the limit in criticism of variant readings and had used variant readings for supporting their own views. In this article, after we gave those claims, we presented Mutazilah’s qiraat views with their terminology and theoretical approaches and practical usings in private of Zamakhshari. Finally, we will try to inquire those claims as taking into above-mentioned subjects and taking into consideration their back-grounds.
