Ülkemizde Cumhuriyet döneminden günümüze gerek kurumsal gerekse ticari-şahsi amblemler incelendiğinde, bazılarının tasarımının oldukça güçlü ve grafik-optik değerlerinin yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Ancak bazı amblemlerin vasat veya oldukça yetersiz oldukları da bir gerçektir. Bu farklı iki yapı, amblem tasarımı yapılırken ehil ve profesyonel grafik tasarımcı seçiminin iyi yapılmadığı sonucunu ortaya koymaktadır. Gerek resmî kurumların gerekse özel sektörün bu konuda titiz davranmaları, iyi tasarımcı seçimi yapmaları veya yarışma yoluyla iyi tasarlanmış amblemler elde etmeyi amaçlamaları tavsiye edilir.

When we examine both corporate and commercial- personal emblems in Turkey from the Republican period to the present day, we see that the designs of some are quite striking, and their graphic-optical values are high. However, it is also a fact that some emblems are mediocre or quite inadequate. These two different structures reveal that during the designing of the emblems, the selection of competent and professional graphic designers was not done well. Both public institutions and the private sector are advised to be meticulous in this regard, to select good designers or to aim to obtain well-designed emblems through competitions.
