Bu makalede amaç, Antik Çağ'da şekillenen Homeros biyografisini eksiksiz bir biçimde sunmak değildir. Amaç, Homeros şiirlerinin anlatıcısına ilişkin mythos'un zamanla nasıl Homeros bios'una (yaşam öyküsü) dönüştüğüne ve bu mitsel biyografinin bizi bugün hâlâ nasıl sanki Homeros tarihsel bir kişinin adıymış gibi etkisi altına aldığına dikkat çekmektir

HOMER: FROM MYTHOS TO BIOS

The aim of this article is not to present all details of Homeric biography developed in Antiquity. The aim is to point out how the mythos of the narrator of Homeric poems has gradually transformed into bios Homerou (life story of Homer), and how this mythical biography still influences us today as if Homer was the name of a historical person
