Covid-19 Hastalarına Bakım Veren Cerrahi Hemşirelerinin Stres Düzeyleri ve Kaynaklarının İncelenmesi

GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ: Bu çalışma; COVİD-19 pandemi sürecinde cerrahi hemşirelerinin stres düzeyleri ve kaynaklarının incelenmesi amacıyla yapıldı. YÖNTEM ve GEREÇLER: Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipte yapılan bu araştırma; Türkiye’nin Kocaeli ilinde cerrahi birimlerde çalışan n=124 hemşirenin katılımı ile 11-26 Ocak 2021 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirildi. Veri toplamada Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Algılanan Stres Ölçeği kullanıldı, veri analizi SPPS 25.0 IBM istatistik paket programı ile yapıldı. BULGULAR: Araştırma kapsamına alınan cerrahi hemşirelerinin %52.4’ü 39-45 yaş aralığında, %89.5’inin kadın, %39.5’inin lisans mezunu, %65’inin evli olduğu belirlendi. Katılımcıların %54’ü 15 yıl ve daha fazla süredir çalışmakta, %62.9’u ameliyathane hemşiresi, %79’u COVID-19’lu hastaya bakım vermekte olduğu belirlendi. Examination of Stress Levels and Sources of Surgical Nurses Caring for COVID-19 Patients

INTRODUCTION: This study; It was conducted to examine the stress levels and sources of surgical nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic process. METHODS: This descriptive and cross-sectional study; Turkey's Kocaeli working in the surgical unit at the provincial n = 124 nurses was conducted between 11-26 January 2021 with the participation of date. Personal Information Form and Perceived Stress Scale were used in data collection, data analysis was performed with SPPS 25.0 IBM statistical package program. RESULTS: It was determined that 52.4% of the surgical nurses included in the study were between the ages of 39-45, 89.5% were female, 39.5% were undergraduate, 65% were married. It was determined that 54% of the participants had been working for 15 years or more, 62.9% were operating room nurses and 79% were providing care to patients with COVID-19. It was determined that the average score obtained from the Perceived Stress Scale-14 was 3.40 ± 0.32.
