Carnap'ın metafizik eleştirisi

Bu yazıda amacımız, Rudolf Carnap'ın metafizik hakkındaki görüşlerini takdim etmek ve incelemektir. İlk olarak, onun ünlü "Dilin Mantıksal Analizi Yoluyla Metafiziğin Üstesinden Gelinmesi" ("The Elimination of Metaphysics through Logical Analysis of Language") makalesini ayrıntılı olarak irdeliyoruz. İkinci olarak ise, bu metinle aynı dönemin ürünü olan diğer metinlerini merkeze alma yoluyla, Carnap'ın "mantıksal sentaks" anlayışı çerçevesinde onun metafiziğe yönelik eleştirilerini bütüncül bir perspektife oturtmaya çalışıyoruz. Bu şekilde göstermeye çalışıyoruz ki, Carnap'a göre, metafiziğin şairane yapısı, dilin yanlış kullanımından başka bir şey değildir.

Carnap's criticism of metaphysics

The aim of this paper is to introduce and examine of Rudolf Carnap's views on metaphysics. We firstly give a detailed analysis of his well-known article titled as "The Elimination of Metaphysics through Logical Analysis of Language" ("IJberwindung der Metaphysik durch logische-Analyse der Sprache"). Secondly, by inquiring into his other works written at the same period, we try to arrive at a holistic account of Carnap's conception of metaphysics within framework of his "logical syntax." By this way, we attempt to show that, according to Carnap, metaphysical poetry is none other than the misuse of language.
