Beden Eğitimi ve Sporda Değerler ve Değer Sistemi: Altyapı Sporlarında Değerler Ölçeğinin Türkçeye Uyarlanması İçin Genç Türk Sporcu Öğrencilerle Bir Araştırma

Bu çalışmanın 2 tane amacı vardır. Birincisi Lee, Whitehead ve Balchin (2000) tarafından geliştirilen Altyapı Sporlarında Değerler Ölçeği’ni (Youth Sport Values Questionnaire–YSVQ) Türkçe’ye uyarlamak, geçerlik ve güvenirliğine kanıtlar sunmaktır. İkincisi ise Türk sporcuların değer sistemlerini incelemektir. Araştırma grubunu 2017 yılında Denizli’de spor kulüpleri ve spor okullarında eğitim gören sporcu öğrenciler oluşturmuştur. Araştırmaya 105 kız, 199 erkek olmak üzere toplam 304 sporcu öğrenci katılmıştır. Grubun yaş aralığı 11-18, yaş ortalaması 14,06 (SS=1,92), spor yaşı ortalaması ise 4,27 (SS=2,36)’dır. Sonuç olarak YSVQ’nun altyapılarda spor yapan gençlerin değer sistemlerini değerlendirmek için güvenilir ve geçerli bir ölçüm aracı olduğu söylenebilir. Ayrıca en önemli 3 değerin anlaşmanın sürdürülmesi, kişisel başarı ve dürüstlük olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Values And Value System In Physical Education And Sport: A Research On Youth Student Athletes To Adapt The Youth Sport Values Question-naire

This study has 2 goals. The first is to adapt the Youth Sport Values Questionnaire (YSVQ) developed by Lee, Whitehead and Balchin (2000) into Turkish to provide evidence its validity and reliability. The second is to examine the value systems of Turkish athletes. The research group were student athletes from sport clubs and sport schools in Denizli in 2017. A total of 304 athletes, 105 girls and 199 boys, participated in the research. The age range of the group is 11-18, the average age is 14.06 (SS = 1.92) and the average sport experience is 4.27 (SS = 2.36). As a result, it can be said that YSVQ is a reliable and valid measurement tool to evaluate the value systems of youth student athlete. In addition, it has been determined that the most important 3 values are contract maintenance, personal achievement and being fair.
