1995 yılı Temmuz ayında Avrupa'nın ortasında ve sözde medeni dünyanın gözleri önünde dünyanın en korkunç katliamlarından biri işlenmiş, Srebrenica'da sekiz bin Boşnak, kendilerini korumakla görevli Hollandalı askerlerin yardımıyla Sırplarca öldürülmüştür.
