HASAK ve HASMER Koyun Tiplerinde Sezon içi Kısa Süreli Sünger Uygulamasının Başlangıcında Human Chorionic Gonadotropin veya Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormon Uygulamasının Reprodüktif Performans Üzerine Etkisi

Sunulan çalışmada HASAK (HSK) ve HASMER (HSM) koyunlarında aşım sezonu içerisinde kısa süreli sünger uygulamasının başlangıcında GnRH veya hCG uygulamasının reprodüktif performans üzerine etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Materyal olarak 38 baş HSK, 37 baş HSM koyun kullanıldı. Her koyun genotipi üç gruba ayrıldı ve birinci gruba (GnRH grubu) 10 mg GnRH, ikinci gruba (hCG grubu) 200 IU hCG, ve kontrol grubuna ise 1 ml steril serum fizyolojik kas içi enjekte edildi. Enjeksiyonlardan hemen sonra 20 mg flugestone asetat içeren intra-vaginal süngerler 7 gün süreyle vaginaya yerleştirildi. Süngerler çıkarılırken 500 IU PMSG ve 75 µg cloprostenol kas içi enjekte edildi. Son uygulamayı takiben beş gün süreyle günde iki kez arama koçları ile östrüste olduğu belirlenen koyunlar fertil koçlarla çiftleştirildi. Aşım sonrası 35. günde ultason cihazı ile gebelik tespiti yapıldı. Çalışmada uygulamaların (hCG veya GnRH) etkisinin belirlenmesinde östrüs oranı, gebelik oranı, doğum oranı, ikizlik oranı, koç altı koyun başına düşen kuzu sayısı (KAKBDKS) ve doğum yapan koyun başına düşen kuzu sayısı (DYKBDKS) reprodüktif performans parametreleri olarak kabul edildi. Gruplar arasında reprodüktif performans parametreleri bakımından istatistiksel fark saptanmadı. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmada HASAK ve HASMER koyunlarında kısa süreli sünger uygulamasının başlangıcında GnRH veya hCG uygulamasının incelenen reprodüktif performans parametreler üzerine olumlu etkisinin olmadığı kanısına varıldı

The effect of GnRH or hCG injection at the Beginning of Short-Term İntravaginal Sponge Application on Reproductive Performance in HASAK and HASMER Ewe Types in the Breeding Season

In present study, it was aimed to determine the effect of GnRH or hCG injection at the beginning of short time vaginal sponge application on reproductive performance in HASAK (HSK) and HASMER (HSM) ewes during the breeding season. As material 38 HSK and 37 HSM ewes were used. Each ewe genotype was divided into three groups and 10 mg GnRH (GnRH group), 200 IU hCG (hCG group) or 1 ml sterile saline solution (control group) were injected intramuscularly. Immediately after injections, intra-vaginal sponges were inserted into vagina for 7 days. At the removing of vaginal sponge, 500 IU PMSG and 75 mcg PGF2 alpha were injected intramuscularly. Following the last injection, estrous was detected by fertile teaser rams twice a day for 5 days, and ewes were mated. Pregnancies were detected on day 35 after mating by using ultrasonography. Estrous, pregnancy, lambing and twinning rate, KKBDKS and DYKBDKS were considered as reproductive performance parameters for determination of the effect of treatments (GnRH or hCG). There was no statistical dif-ference for reproductive performance parameters among groups. As a result, it was concluded that was no improving effect of GnRH or hCG injection at the beginning of short time vaginal sponge application on evaluated reproductive performance parameters in HSK and HSM ewes during the breeding season in present study.
