Bir Süt Sığırı İşletmesinde Botulismus
Bu olgu sunumunda botulismuslu 5 sığırın klinik, hematolojik ve biyokimyasal analiz sonuçlarının rapor edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Etkilenen sığırlardaki en önemli klinik bulgular iştahta azalma, ataksi, yerde yatma, iğne batırıldığında kuyruk tonusu ve sensitivitesinin azalması, dil tonusu kaybı ve salivasyon idi. Botulismusun kesin tanısı, çalışılan toksinin rumen ve barsak içeriği ile yem maddelerinde varlığının ortaya konması temeline dayandırıldı. Sığırlarda Clostridium botulinum tip C ve D’nin toksinlerinin direkt izole edilmesiyle botulismus tanısı doğrulandı.
Bir Süt Sığırı İşletmesinde Botulismus
In this case report, the clinical, hematological and biochemical analyses results of 5 cattle with botulism were aimed to report. The most important clinical signs in affected cattle were decreased appetite, ataxia, recumbence, reduction of tail tone and sensitivity to prick with a needle, loss of tongue tone, and salivation. A definitive diagnosis of botulism was based on demonstration of the performed toxin in ruminal and intestinal contents and feeding materials. Clostridium botulinum type C and D was confirmed by direct toxin isolation in cattle.
