Non-A-E Hepatitis Viruses: Hepatitis G Virus Viral hepatitis cases have been classified as hepatitis A, B, C, D and E. But, viral hepatitis constitute a big health problem all around the world and some of the cases could not be classified with these five hepatitis types and other non-viral or infectious agents. This suggests that there would be some other types of hepatitis viruses. Since then, hepatitis F and G viruses have been identified. We rewieved the current knowledge of characteristics, transmission routes, epidemiology, clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of these new viruses in this paper. Bugüne kadar viral hepatit olguları, hepatit A, B, C, D ve E viruslan ile açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Ancak viral hepatitler, bütün dünyada önemli bir sağlık sorunu olmaya devam etmektedir. Bilinen bu beş hepatit ajanı ya da diğer non-viral ve infeksiyöz ajanlarla açıklanamayan hepatit olgularının varlığı ve epidemiyolojik zincirin kınlamaması başka hepatit viruslarının olabileceğini düşündürmektedir. Buradan yola çıkılarak yapılan araşürmalar hepatit F ve G viruslarını ortaya koymuştur. Biz de bu yazımızda, bu yeni hepatit viruslarının özelliklerine değinerek, bulaş yollan, epidemiyoloji ve klinik görünüm ile tanı ve tedaviye yönelik mevcut bilgileri derlemeyi amaçladık.
