Ophthalmic surgeons have commonly used phacoemulsification since it has the advantages of small incision and foldable lens usage. In this study, we investigated the effects of Phacoemulsification (phaco) and foldable intraocular lens (IOL) on intraocular pressure. Between January 1995 and September 1996, 124 eyes of 114 patients which have been performed Phaco and implanted foldable silicon IOL were examined, retrospectively.
