An Investigation of Zinc and Copper Levels in Hair of Patients with Behcet's Disease This study was achieved with the purpose to determine the distribution of trace elements in hair of persons who suffer from Behçet disease. The study was organized in two groups as one control (n=30) and other Behçet disease (n=50) group. Trace element concentrations in hair samples in control and Behçet disease groups were analyzed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Hair zinc and copper concentrations of Behçet disease and control groups were found as follows: 155,0±22,0 pg/dl, 7,63±4,1 pg/dl and 190,0±32,8pg/dl, 6,26±2,7 pg/dl.
