Neolitik dönemden beri üretilen seramik, geçmişten günümüze dek pek çok yeni ve farklı alanda kendisine yer bularak, fark ettirmeden günlük yaşantımızda dâhil olmuştur. Böylece seramik olarak adlandırdığımız ürün gurubu yaşantımızda çok geniş bir alana yayılmıştır. Seramik kullanımı, farkında olmadığımız bir zorunluluktur da.
