Sivil havacılık sektörü, Türkiye’de en hızlı gelişim gösteren sektörler arasında yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Türk sivil havacılık sektörünün güçlü ve zayıf yönleri ile fırsatlar ve tehditler, sayısal temelde kurgulanmış SWOT analizi ile sistematik olarak irdelenmiştir. Bu amaçla alanyazındaki diğer çalışmalardan farklı olarak, Türk sivil havacılık sektörünün mevcut durumu faktörlerin önem derecelerinin de belirlenmesine izin veren SWOT-AHS bütünleşik yöntemi ile ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle alanyazından hareketle SWOT matrisi oluşturulmuştur. Daha sonra SWOT matrisinde yer alan faktörler AHS hiyerarşine entegre edilmiş, Türk sivil havacılık sektörünün mevcut durum değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın bulguları,  sektör açısından en önemli faktörün turizm potansiyeli olduğunu göstermiştir.

The civil aviation sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in Turkey. In this study, the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the Turkish civil aviation sector were examined systematically by SWOT analysis, which was constructed on a numerical basis. For this purpose, unlike other studies in the literature, the current situation of the Turkish civil aviation sector has been tried to be addressed by the SWOT-AHS integrated method, which allows the importance levels of factors to be determined. In the study, firstly SWOT matrix was created with reference to the literature. The factors in the SWOT matrix were then integrated into the AHP hierarchy and the current situation of the Turkish civil aviation sector was assessed. The findings of the study indicated that the most important factor in terms of the sector is tourism potential.
