Rize İlinin Güncel Balık Faunası
Bu çalışma Rize İlinin balık faunasını ortaya koymak amacıyla, Nisan 2004 - Nisan 2014 tarihleri arasında 7 büyük akarsu sistemi (İyidere, Güneysu, Büyükdere, Melyat, Fırtına, Yeşil ve Çağlayan) üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda 5 ordo (Petromyzoniformes, Salmoniformes, Cypriniformes, Mugiliformes ve Perciformes) ve 6 familyaya (Petromyzonidae, Salmonidae, Cyprinidae, Cobitidae, Mugilidae, Gobiidae) ait 14 tür (Lampetra lanceolata, Salmo coruhensis, Salmo rizeensis, Alburnoides fasciatus, Alburnus derjugini, Barbus escherichii, Capoeta banarescui, Chondrostoma colchicum, Rutilus frisii, Squalius sp., Cobitis splendens, Mugil cephalus, Liza aurata, Ponticola rizensis) tespit edilmiştir.

The Current Fish Fauna of Rize Province
In this study, fish samples were collected from 7 large river systems (Iyidere, Güneysu, Büyükdere, Melyat, Fırtına, Yeşil and Çağlayan) between April 2004 and April 2014 in order to reveal the fish fauna of the Rize Province. As a result of this study 14 species (Lampetra lanceolata, Salmo coruhensis, Salmo rizeensis, Alburnoides fasciatus, Alburnus derjugini, Barbus escherichii, Capoeta banarescui, Chondrostoma colchicum, Rutilus frisii, Squalius sp., Cobitis splendens, Mugil cephalus, Liza aurata, Ponticola rizensis) belonging to 5 ordo (Petromyzoniformes, Salmoniformes, Cypriniformes, Mugiliformes, Perciformes) and 6 families (Petromyzonidae, Salmonidae, Cyprinidae, Cobitidae, Mugilidae, Gobiidae) were determined.
