The interactions between udder health and reproduction in cows
The dairy herd productions are the main actors of animal products. The expectation from dairy herds across the world is to ensure that the reproductive parameters remain within the optimum values and at the same time to achieve high milk yield. However, as a result of genetic selections and efforts to increase milk yield over the years, both reproduction was negatively affected and udder diseases was increased. In the present article, it was aimed to explain the interactions between udder health and the reproductive process, and to review current information on this subject.
