18F-FDG PET/CT In Cases With Cervical Cancer: Comparative Values of Suv-Max Values and Postoperative Histopathology
Aim: To compare the preoperative 18F-FDG PET/CT findings postoperative histopathologic results in cases with cervical cancer.Material And Methods: 32 Cases underwent staging surgery for cervical cancer at our clinic and have had PET/CT scan preoperatively was included to the study. Factors recorded were; age, gravidy, parity PET/CT results and postoperative histopathology. Results: The study is completed with 32 participants. Age of the participants were between 29 and 63 ±4,26. Median age of the patients was 49. Mean gravida of the patients was 4 ±2,0, mean parity was 2,85 ±1,48. Tumor diameter in the PET/CT and post-operative tumor size showed no statistically significant association in our study group. p=0,09 SUV max of the primary tumor showed a statistically significant association with tumor if tumor size is divided into two groups as >4cm and
