THE INFLAMMATION IN OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA SYNDROME
Aim: The association between obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) and inflammation remains controversial. This study investigated the relationship between OSAS and obesity with proinflammatory state. Method: A total of 133 consecutive subjects who were referred for polysomnography. 112 were documented to have OSAS defined as AHI >5 and 21 control subjects with AHI
