A RARE MALIGNANCY OF LUNG: RHABDOID TUMOR
Malign rhabdoid tumors are rare pulmonary tumors. The percent of Large Cell Carcinomas is 10 % of all lung cancers (1). In this group tumours with Rhabdoid phenotipics are less frequently. At first time it was defined for renal located tumours (2). This tumors are rarely renal or extra renal. But they have significant roles because of they are aggressive prognosis. In this case we reported a 52 years old male patient. We identified a lesion at left upper lobe, and we decided to operate him. This case is important because of it's postoperative pathology was reported as rhabdoid tumor which is a rare malignancy of lung. Because of ‘rhabdoid tumors' are agresive malignancies, we checked up him at frequent intevals.
