SHEEHAN SENDROMU: OLGU SUNUMU

Sheehan sendrom, empty sella sendromun önemli nedenlerinden biridir. Klinik seyir değişken olup, intrapartum veya postpartum kanama sonrası ani ya da sinsice yıllar sonra gelişen hipofizer yetmezlik şeklinde olabilir. Biz, 14 yıl önce geçirdiği ciddi intrapartum kanama sonrası yavaş seyirli panhipopituitarizme neden olan nadir Sheehan sendromlu bayan olguyu sunmaktayız

SHEEHAN SYNDROM: A CASE REPORT

Sheehan’s syndrome is one of important causes of empty-sella syndrome. The clinical presentation is variable with sudden or insidiously developing pituitary insufficiency after intrapartum or postpartum haemorrhage in years. We present an elderly woman with Sheehan syndrome who had slowly progressive hypopituitarism after 14 years of a severe intrapartum haemorrhage
