Şev stabilitesi probleminin incelenmesi için geliştirilen bir uzman sistem: BilŞEV-US
Şev stabilitesi probleminin çözümü veri toplama, model oluşturma, analiz ve tasarım gibi bir dizi aşamadan oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, sözü edilen aşamaları kapsayan ve bu aşamaların bilgisayar desteğinde yapılmasını sağlayan bütünleşik (integrated) ve bilgi tabanlı bir sistem (BilŞEV) için geliştirilen uzman sistem modülü (BilŞEV-US) konu edilmiştir. Uzman sistem modülü şev stabilitesi konusundaki uzmanlık bilgilerinin, önerilen bu bütünleşik yapı içinde kullanılmasına ve programlanmasına olanak sağlamıştır. Uzman sistemin tasarımında izlenen yol, hem genç mühendislerin şev problemini çözmesinde destek ve yardım sağlamakta, hem de uzman mühendislerin, cevaplarını muhtemelen bildikleri soruları yanıtlamak zorunda kalmadan, bütünleşik sistem içinde yer alan diğer modülleri kullanmasını sağlamaktadır.
The development of an expert system for the investigation of slope stability problem: SlopeIDE-ES
The solution of slope stability problems consists of many stages such as data collection, modeling, analysis and design. This paper is focused on the expert system module (SlopelDE-ES) of the integrated and intelligent design environment for slopes (SlopelDE), which includes all solution stages of the slope stability problem and executes the whole process with the aid of computer. The expert system module enables capturing and representing the expertise and knowledge in the slope stability domain. This module has several knowledge bases such as parameter estimation, limiting factor of safety and landslide susceptibility. In addition to a warning mechanism, which checks the inconsistencies between geotechnical parameters, the system includes a mechanism that utilizes the knowledge bases to provide advice on suitable input parameters. An explanation of the process used to derive the input parameters is also provided by the system. The expert system module enables the programming and the use of the expert knowledge within the integrated framework. The selected design method of the expert system provides a complete assistance and guidance for the young engineers in the solution of the slope stability problem, while enabling the expert engineers to use other modules of the integrated system without dealing with the input questions whose answers are presumably clear for them.
