Ruminantlarda süt proteinleri ve polimorfizmi

Mendel kanunlarına göre, sığırlarda dominant olmayan otosomal genler tarafından kontrol edilen 6 büyük süt proteini fraksiyonu, farklı allel formlarında mevcuttur; αs1 kazein, αs2 kazein, β kazein, K kazein, α-LA, β-LG. Sığırlarda süt protein genlerini içeren DNA bölgelerinde polimorfizm belirlenmiştir. Bu derlemeyle, ruminantlarda süt verimi ve kalitesi gibi ekonomik verim özelliklerine etki eden süt protein genleri hakkında araştırıcılara bilgi verilmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Milk proteins and polymorphism on ruminants

According to Mendels Laws, genetic variations of major six milk proteins in ruminants were identified;αs1 casein, αs2 casein, β casein, K casein, α-lactalbumin, β-lactoglobulin. Polymorphisms were detected in the DNA region containing milk protein genes in ruminants. In this review, it is aimed to determine the milk protein genes which effect the milk production traits and milk quality.
