Emile Durkheim sosyoloji bilimine önemli katkılarda bulunan bir sosyologdur. Çalışmamız bakımından da Türk sosyolojisine çok önemli katkıları olması nedeniyle ayrıcalıklı bir yeri vardır. Öyle ki Türkiye'de sosyoloji biliminden bahsedildiğinde ilk akla gelen sosyolog hiç kuşkusuz Durkheim ve onun ülkemizdeki temsilcisi Ziya Gökalp'tır. Durkheim, bir dönem toplumsal sorunlarımızın çözümü için aydınlarımıza ilham kaynağı olmuştur. Cumhuriyet döneminde ise bir dönem sosyoloji eğitimi Durkheimci yaklaşımla özdeşleşmiştir. Hazırladığımız bu bibliyografya ile Durkheim'in Türkiye'de ne denli önemli olduğunu çevirileri ve hakkında yapılan çalışmalardan hareketle ortaya koymaya çalışacağız. Onun yayınları üzerine son yüz yılda ülkemizde yapılmış olan belli başlı çalışmaları bir arada görebilme ve değerlendirme imkanını sağlamış olacağız.

Emile Durkheim is a sociologist who has a considerable contribution to the science of sociology. Because of having very important contributions to Turkish Sociology, he has a priviledged place in our study too. Moreover, in Turkiye when the science of Sociology is mentioned about, there is no doubt the first sociologist who is remembered is Durkheim, and his representative in Turkiye is Ziya Gökalp. Durkheim has been the source of inspiration to our enlightened elites to solve our sociological troubles for a period of time. During the Turkish Republican age for a period of time, the education of sociology was the same as Durkheim's approach. With this bibliography we prepared, we will try to reveal what importance Durkheim has in Turkiye, with the help of translations from Durkheim and the studies about him. We will have provided to have the oppurtunity to see together the chief studies done about the publishes of Durkheim in the last century in our country and to appraise them.
