AN ESSAY ON ECONOMIC THOUGHT INSPIRED BY ‘FIRST PHILOSOPHY’

Öz This essay first aims to ground, in the implementation of ‘first philosophy’ to social sciences, thecomplementary approaches of Karl Popper’s ‘evolutionary epistemology’ and Roy Bhaskar - TonyLawson’s ‘critical realism’; and, thereby, to forge a link between the philosophies of economicthinkers. Secondly it aims to rediscover the concept of uncertainty and mostly a constructionwithin the framework of the relationship between the ‘first philosophy’ and modes of philosophicalthinking which were influenced by it.
