Bu makalede gelişen teknolojinin cep telefonu operatörleri üzerindeki etki ve beklentileri ele alınmıştır. On yıl önce, cep telefonları için sesli ve yazılı iletişimde mobil operatörler tek seçenekti; ama şimdi seçenekler artmıştır. Hızla gelişen akıllı telefon teknolojisi ve kablosuz internetin yaygınlaşması sayesinde dünyanın her yerinden insanlar tanıdıklarıyla bedava sesli, yazılı, görüntülü iletişim kura bilirler. İstatistiklere göre son dönemlerde mobil operatörler gelirlerinin büyük bir kısmını veri trafiğinden elde ediyorlar. Ama internettin özel ve kamu kurumları tarafından halka bedava sunulmasıyla birlikte kullanıcılar operatörlerin fonksiyonlarını daha az kullanacaklar. Sonuç olarak elde edilmiştir ki, zamanla mobil operatörlerin gelir dağılımları değişecek. Rekabette ezilmemek için ise mobil operatörler farklı alanlara yatırım yapmak zorunda kalacaklar.

This article describes the influence and expectation of the developed technology onto mobile operators. Ten years ago, mobile communication was the only means of oral and written communication. Today, there are variety of choices. Through Rapidly growing smart phone technology and wireless internet ensures people to be able to communicate with acquisitions with loud voiced, written, and video chats. Statistics show that, recently, mobile operators establish the biggest part of their incomes from data. However, after private and government organizations will offer the free internet to public, users will reduce the usage of mobile operators’ features.
