2016 Rio Olimpiyat Oyunları Tenis Müsabakalarının Analizi

Bu araştırmanın amacı 2016 Rio olimpiyat oyunları tenis müsabakalarının analizini yapmaktır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak 2016 Rio olimpiyat oyunları tenis müsabakaları resmi internet sayfaları kullanılmıştır. Turnuvaya 172 sporcu katılmış ve müsabakalar süresince yayınlanan beş farklı kategoride (tek erkekler, tek bayanlar, çift erkekler, çift bayanlar, karışık çiftler) toplam 201 maç sonucu değerlendirilmeye alınmıştır. Tenis müsabakalarının; ortalama oyun süresi, ortalama oyun sayısı, toplam maç süresi, karşılanamayan atış, çift hata, ortalama servis sayısı, birinci servis sayısı, birinci servisten kazanılan puan sayısı, ikinci servis sayısı ve ikinci servisten kazanılan puan sayısı kayıt edilmiş ve maç değişkenleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmada verilerin tanımlayıcı istatistik analizleri (aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, frekans dağılımı) yapılmıştır. Turnuvadaki müsabakalar süresince ortalama değerler; oyun süresi 4-4.6 dakika, oyun sayıları 21-23 oyun, maç süresi 84-107 dk., karşılanamayan atış sayısı 1.2-4.2, çift hata sayısı 2.1-3, servis sayısı 66-75, birinci servis sayısı 44.3-52.7, birinci servisten kazanılan puan sayısı 27.9-32.1, ikinci servis sayısı 18.9-25.8, ikinci servisten kazanılan puan sayısı 10.6-14.4 arasında olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuçlar maç içerisindeki değişkenlerden faydalanarak, turnuvalara yönelik güncel antrenman programları hazırlanması amacıyla antrenörler tarafından kullanılabilir.

Analysis of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Tennis Competitions

The purpose of this study was to analysis of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games tennis competitions. As a data collection tool used in the official web pages in Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Total 172 internationally ranked tennis players participated competitions and during competitions, published in these pages in five categories (men’s doubles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women doubles and mixed doubles) total 201 match analysis of the results were evaluated. The study monitored the following game characteristics: average duration of games, average game number, total match duration, aces, number of double faults, average serve number, number of 1st serve, winning % on 1st serve, number of 2nd serve, winning % on 2nd serve. Descriptive statistic (mean, standard deviation, frequency distribution) was performed in order to evaluate the game characteristics in this study. Match activity characteristics were determined: duration of games 4-4.6 min, average game number 21-23, total match duration 84-107 min, aces 1.2-4.2, number of double faults 2.1-3, total serve number 66-75, number of 1st serve 44.3-52.7, winning % on 1st serve 27.9-32.1, number of 2nd serve 18.9-25.8, winning % on 2nd serve 10.6-14.4. According to this result, coaches can prepare actual training programs by using this match characteristic.
