Altmış üç yıl çileli bir hayat yaşamış olan Hz. Peygamber, özellikle yirmi üç yıllık peygamberlik döneminde son derece çetin sınavlarla karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Kendisine her şeyden daha yakın olan ashabının başına gelen birçok üzücü olaydan müteessir olmuştur. O olaylardan biri de Necid bölgesindeki Arapların talebi üzerine yola çıkardığı on kişilik küçük müfrezenin Recî’ denilen mevkide tuzağa düşürülmesidir. Onlar, bizzat kendilerini talep edenlerin ihaneti sonucu hayatlarını kaybettiler; fakat o hayatların tarihin karanlıklarında kalmayıp bilakis İslâm tarihinin her döneminde tekrar tekrar yeşerdiğini görmekteyiz. The Prophet, who had lived a life of sixty-three years, suffered extremely difficult exams, especially during his twenty-three years of prophecy. He has been saddened by many sad things that happened to his friends who are closer to him than anything else. One of those events is the dropping of the so-called 'Raji', a small crew of ten people on the way to the request of the Arabs in the Najid region. They lose their betrayal-ending lives, those who demand themselves; But we see that those lives do not stay in the darkness of history, but rather bloom again and again in every period of Islamic history.
