Transportation and the means of transport which occupies an important place in the social life plays an important part in almost everybody's daily life. Especially being situated in rather different position in our life automobile has been continuing increasingly to be influential in the life of societies from its invention to date. Today a perception is prevailing that a way of transport without automobile is nearly not possible. This perceptiveness reminds the idea that a addiction of automobile has also developed in just the same way as other manners. Automobile addiction which occurs due to various reasons remains as a reality before us that impossible to deny and must be thought upon its remedy. In this study it is dwelt on the reasons of automobile addiction, its reflections on social life and proposals for the solution.
