Bu çaly?manyn amacy huzurevlerinde kalan ya?lylaryn sosyo-psikolojik durumlaryny incelemektir. Bu amaçla Sosyal Hizmetler Çocuk Esirgeme Kurumuna ba?ly Konya Dr. Ysmail I?yk Ya?ly Bakym ve Rehabilitasyon Merkezi'nde kalan 104 ki?inin ya?, cinsiyet, sa?lyk, e?itim, meslek ve medeni durumlary ve gelir düzeyleri incelenmi?tir, daha sonra bu de?i?kenlere göre ya?lylaryn huzurevinde kalma nedenleri, sosyo-kültürel aktiviteleri, kurum bakymyndan memnuniyet düzeyleri ve sosyal uyumlary tarty?ylmy?tyr. Veriler 2002 yylynyn Ocak ayynda toplanmy?tyr. Ara?tyrma kapsamyndaki ya?lylaryn yarysy (%51.9) kendisini yalnyz hissetti?i için, %32.8'i de çocuklary bakmady?y için huzurevinde kaldyklaryny belirtmi?lerdir. Yine ya?lylar içinde %72.1'i, toplumda bir ?eyler yapma gücüne sahip olduklaryna inanmamaktadyrlar. Ya?lylaryn temel ihtiyaçlarynyn sa?lyk, gelir ve barynma üzerinde yo?unla?ty?y bulunmu?tur.

The socio-psychological conditions of old people in the old people's homes

The object of this study was to examine the socio-psychological conditions of old people in the old people's homes. To do this, it was examined 104 people in respect of age, gender, health, education, profession, marital status and income in Dr Ysmail I?yk Old Age Care and Rehabilitation Center that is relying on Social Services and Child Protection Agency in Konya, and then it was discussed reasons of staying at old people home, socio-cultural activities, satisfaction levels of institutional care and social adaptation with above variations. The data collected in January 2002. In the study, the half of old people (51.9%) stated that they were at old people home because felt themselves lonely and 32.8% of them stated that they were at old people home because their children were not looking after for them. Again 72.1% of them don't believe that they have not any power to do something for the society. In the result of study, it is found that the main exigency of old people was amassed on health, income and taking shelter.
