Her dilde oldu?u gibi Türkçe'de de deyimler çok önemli ifade vasytalarydyr. Asyrlar içerisinde dilde meydana gelmi?, milletin tümü ya da büyük bir ço?unlu?u tarafyndan benimsenmi?, iki ya da daha çok anlam ifade edebilen kalypla?my? sözlerdir. Az sözle çok anlam ta?ymasy, nükteli ve etkili söyleyi? kazandyrmasy bakymyndan divan ?airleri de manzumelerinde deyim kullanmayy tercih etmi?lerdir. ?eyh Galib de halk deyim ve tabirlerini kullanarak, yeni ve orijinal bir söyleyi? kazanma amacyyla çok deyim kullanmy?tyr.

As it is in any language, the idioms in Turkish are very importand intermediaries of expression as well. Idioms are formed words which have at least two meanings or more, which are considered by all of people (or most of people) related to language in centuries. The poets of classical school (Divan's poets) also preferred to use idioms in their poems to acquire more meanings with afew words, witty and effectual. ?eyh Galib used many idioms to acquire new and original pronunciations using people's idioms and expressions too.
