Geleneksel Elazy? evleri, Yzzet Pa?a, Aksaray, Kyzylay ve Nail Bey mahallesinde yo?unla?my?tyr. Bu evler, genellikle dy? ve iç sofaly plan tipinde yapylmy?tyr. Duvarlarla çevrili avlular, evin arkasynda bulunmaktadyr. Genellikle iki katly olan evlerin alt katlary ahyr, depo, merek ve kiler gibi ihtiyaç birimlerine ayrylmy?, üst katlar ise asyl ikamet bölümleri ?eklinde düzenlenmi?tir. Zemin katlarynda büyük ta? kemerlerin kullanylmasy bu yöreye has bir özelliktir. Ta? temel üzerine kerpiç duvarly olan evlerin ara duvarlary hymy? örgülüdür. Ömer Bey Kona?y, Elâzy?'da Aksaray Mahallesi De?irmen Sokak No:4 adresinde bulunmaktadyr. Ev, 1931 yylynda Tapu Müdürü Ömer Ary? tarafyndan, Sirkeci Hoca diye bilinen ustaya yaptyrylmy?tyr. Çift kanatly ah?ap cümle kapysy, demir balkonlu cumbasy ile dikkat çeken Ömer Ary? evi, iç sofaly plan tipi, yapy malzemesi, ah?aptan oda boyu cumbasy ile geleneksel Elazy? evleri ile ayny özelliktedir. Geleneksel Elazy? evlerinde ustasy bilinen ender örneklerden biridir. Günümüze sa?lam ula?my? olmasy bakymyndan önemlidir.

THE OMER BEY RESIDENCE IN ELAZI?

The traditional Elazy? houses have been condensed in the quarters of Yzzet Pa?a, Aksaray, Kyzalay and Nail Bey. These houses have especially been constructed with inner and outside hall style. The courtyard that is surrounded with walls is behind the house. The first stroy of the houses which are usually two storied is used as a stable, warehouse or store-room and the second store is used as a living flat. Big stones being used in the enterance of the house is a speciality belonging to this area. The houses which were built on stones are of air dried bricks fort the middle walls. The Omer Bey residence is at the fourth street on De?irmen Street in Aksaray guarter in Elazy?. Omer Ary?, director of the registration office, got Sirkeci Hoca to build the building in 1931. The double floated wooden door with its ironed balcony and hall is the same as the traditional Elazy? houses. It is one of the unique samples of Elazy? houses, whose foreman is known. It is important to reach to the present time with its remaining whole.
